This newly discovered plant bears the darkest flowers of any dierama we have ever seen. Pendulous trumpets of deepest burgundy contrast starkly with the white papery enclosing bracts from which they emerged. A superb new colour-break.
Sowing advice: Z. COVER WITH COMPOST OR GRIT 5mm. DEEP. SOW ANYTIME IN GENTLE HEAT AND KEEP MOIST. SLOW TO GERMINATE. GROW ON INDIVIDUAL, 'GRASS-LIKE' SEEDLINGS IN 3" POTS. PLANT OUT FINALLY IN A WELL-DRAINED OPEN POSITION.
