Description
This excellent Dutch variety has uniform-sized, large, globe-shaped bulbs with thin necks, which have a firm straw coloured skin, pure white flesh and good flavour. They have excellent quality, high yields and very good storage life, and from an August harvest, they keep well throughout winter until March.
Sowing Advice
For sowing seeds outside wait until the soil temperature is above 10 degrees C. Sow thinly in rows about 9 inches apart, just under the surface. Thin out when about 4 inches high leaving about 6 inches between the bulbs. Seeds can be also be grown indoors in trays and transplanted outside after the last frost.
