Solidago Canadensis "Goldenrod"
In stock
Description
Strong upright stems hold dividing sprays of deep golden yellow. With a valuable late-flowering period of August to October, this is the best of the taller cultivars making a grand contrast to the autumn colouring of Michaelmas Daisies and other late bloomers. These plants are exceedingly tough and forgiving, thriving in the hardest driest soil.
Sowing Advice
Sow immediately at any time onto preferably a soil-based compost, covering with fine grit to approximately their own depth. Germination MAY be quicker if kept at 15 to 20 degrees C. but many seeds WILL NOT come up the year they are sown, needing winter chilling after sowing, and ONLY come up with natural spring germination.
