BUDDLEIA 'ROYAL RED'
In stock
Description
Dense spikes of fragrant, deep 'royal red' flowers open amongst gorgeous grey foliage, attracting butterflies and other beneficial insects into your garden. This fabulous summer-flowering shrub is guaranteed to create an impact in a sunny border, especially if it is pruned hard in early spring, and in autumn the pointed grey-green leaves turn a gorgeous butter-yellow. These seeds have been collected from this fabulous cultivar and occasionally flower colours may vary, but all should be lovely.
Sowing Advice
These seeds have already been thoroughly cleaned and cold-stored for several months. They should be sown into well-drained, sandy compost at any time of the year, and covered to their own depth with sand or grit. No artificial heat is needed; the seed tray is best left in a cool spot outside and kept moist. Seeds usually germinate in the spring after a chilling in the cold compost, regardless of when they are sown. NOTE. The tiny white seeds are mixed with capsule dust. Please sow the entire packet onto a seed pot or seed tray and water in.
