As part of our 40 years of Plant World Seeds, we have launched a brand new website, built from the ground up to make exploring our catalogue easier, clearer, and more inspiring.
For a long time, Plant World Seeds has been about more than simply listing seeds for sale. It has always been about discovery: unusual plants, fascinating origins, reliable growing information, and the pleasure of finding something you may never have come across before. With the new site, we wanted to keep all of that depth while making the experience smoother and more enjoyable for every kind of gardener, from the first-time seed sowing beginner to the seasoned plant collector.

Easier browsing across a vast catalogue
Our catalogue now spans thousands of varieties, so one of the biggest improvements has been making it easier to browse without feeling overwhelmed.
The new category pages are much more structured, with clearer main collections and helpful subcategories that let you narrow things down naturally. Instead of facing one enormous list, you can move more easily into relevant sections such as annual flowers, perennial flowers, alpines, tropicals, vegetables, fruits, and much more.
This makes it far simpler to browse with a purpose, whether you already know what you want or simply want to explore.

Better filters for gardeners who know what they are looking for

One of the most useful additions on the new website is the improved filtering system. On collection pages you can now refine what you see more easily, helping you cut through a very large range of seeds and find plants that truly suit your garden, your climate, or your interests.
It is especially useful if you are trying to build a particular planting scheme, looking for plants from a specific part of the world, or simply reducing a large category down to a more manageable shortlist.
We wanted the browsing experience to feel more like discovering a well-organised specialist catalogue and less like searching through a haystack.
Richer product pages with real growing information
The product pages themselves have had a major upgrade. As well as clearer images and improved layout, many products now bring together the information gardeners actually want in one place.
You can now see product details more clearly, including plant characteristics, growing conditions, packet information, and related botanical detail. Many products also include a visual growing calendar, making it much easier to understand when to sow, when to plant out, and when to expect flowering or harvest.
This is one of the features we are especially pleased with because it turns each product page into something more useful than a shop listing. It becomes a practical growing reference too.

Customer accounts for a smoother experience
Customers can now create an account to make repeat shopping easier and more convenient. This gives you a central place to manage your details, keep track of orders, and manage saved addresses and preferences.
At the same time, we have kept the experience flexible. The aim was not to make shopping more complicated, but to make it easier for returning customers who want a quicker and more organised experience.
For many customers, especially those who order regularly, this will make the site far more convenient to use over time.

Reviews and confidence built into the site
A specialist seed catalogue depends on trust, and the new website makes customer feedback much more visible. The reviews area gives growers a clearer sense of the experience other customers are having, from service and packing to germination and plant performance.
That matters because buying seeds is always an act of optimism. We wanted the site to reflect not only what we sell, but also the confidence that comes from decades of customer experience.

A new home for articles, guides, and plant stories
We have also launched and expanded our blog so that the website can become a better home for gardening articles, plant stories, seasonal advice, and useful growing guidance.
This gives us a place to share more of the horticultural knowledge behind the catalogue, highlight unusual plants, and publish practical articles that customers can return to long after placing an order.
Over time, this will become an increasingly important part of the Plant World Seeds website, not just for news, but for inspiration and expertise too.

Still growing
Although the new website is now live, this is only the beginning. We will continue improving the catalogue, expanding product information, publishing new articles, and refining the browsing experience over time.
We hope the new Plant World Seeds website keeps everything our customers valued in the old one while making it easier to explore, learn, and find something wonderful to grow.
If you have any comments about the new site please find a feedback form here.
Thank you for growing with us.
