These terms govern use of our retail website and orders placed with Plant World Seeds.

Retail website terms

Welcome to Plant World Seeds. These terms apply to your use of our retail website (www.plant-world-seeds.com) and form the basis of your contract with us when you place an order.

By using our website, you agree to these terms, which are aligned with UK law including the Consumer Rights Act 2015, Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and GDPR.

1. Business Overview

We are one of the few seed companies in the world that still grow and produce many of our own seeds.

While we strive to ensure all seeds are correctly named and of high quality, some are open-pollinated and occasional variations may occur. We also rely on global suppliers for sourced seed details.

Our liability is limited to remedies required under UK law, including replacement, refund, or other appropriate action.

2. Heirloom and Heritage Vegetable Seeds

Heirloom and heritage vegetable seeds are provided for private use and are not intended for commercial food production.

Due to open-pollinated characteristics, occasional plant variation can occur. This does not affect your statutory rights.

3. Communication and Data Processing

We process personal data in line with GDPR. Personal information is confidential and not shared without consent.

Payment data is processed securely by Elavon/Opayo and PayPal and is not stored by us.

We may contact you about order issues and may send promotional emails. You can unsubscribe at any time. See our Privacy and Cookie Policy.

4. Offers and Promotions

Our main retail offer: almost all items on our site benefit from a buy 2, get a 3^rd free promotion. On eligible products, add two packets of the same item and a third packet is added automatically.

Buy 2 get 3^rd free offer: the offer applies per eligible item line. Add two paid packets of the same item and the third packet is added automatically as a free item.
Discount codes: valid on retail web orders and apply to goods only (not shipping). Apply in cart before checkout. One code per order, though Buy-2-get-1-free can stack.

Pricing or promotion errors may occur. If this happens, we may cancel and refund the order. Statutory rights are unaffected.

5. Payment

We accept credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, JCB, Amex) and PayPal.

Prices and payments are charged in the site currency selected at checkout.

Any fees or exchange charges applied by your bank, card issuer, or payment provider remain your responsibility.

UK orders are typically dispatched within 2 working days. Delays can occur during peak periods or when stock is being replenished to order.

7. Refund and Cancellation Policy

General Returns

We accept returns and exchanges for both defective and non-defective products within 30 days of delivery.
Returned items must be in new condition and suitable for resale.
Returns are handled by post. Email orders@plant-world-seeds.com with your order number before sending items back.
Customers normally pay return postage, and refunds are processed within 5 days of the returned goods arriving back with us and being checked.

Fees and Import Exceptions

Non-defective returns may be subject to a 30% restocking fee.
Original delivery charges, customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not refunded for non-defective returns.
If an international order is returned because local import rules were not followed, we may refund the product price once it is safely returned to us, less the original shipping cost and a 30% restocking fee.
Orders confiscated or destroyed by customs are not refundable.

8. Out-of-Stock Items

If an item is out of stock after ordering, we refund that item's cost. Refunds are usually processed within 7 working days of dispatch.

9. Complaint Handling

If you are dissatisfied with our service or products, contact info@plant-world-seeds.com. We aim to resolve complaints promptly.
