Delivery and Returns Policy

1. Delivery Speed

We aim to dispatch all seed orders within 1 to 3 working days to the delivery address provided at checkout.

Dispatch times may be extended due to stock waiting, holidays, or unforeseen delays. If a delay exceeds a few days, we will contact you using your checkout email.

For international orders, delivery time varies by destination and can take up to 30 days, including possible customs inspection periods.

2. Returns Policy

We accept returns and exchanges for both defective and non-defective products.

  • Items must be returned within 30 days of delivery.
  • Returned items must be in new condition and suitable for resale.
  • Returns are handled by post only.
  • Customers are responsible for return postage unless we agree that an item was damaged, faulty, or sent in error.
  • A 30% restocking fee may be deducted from the product price for non-defective returns and for parcels returned because local import requirements were not met.
  • Refunds are processed within 5 days of the returned goods arriving back with us and being checked.

Before sending a return, email orders@plant-world-seeds.com with your order number so we can confirm the correct return address and whether you would prefer a refund or an exchange.

Original delivery charges, customs duties, taxes, and import fees are not refunded for non-defective returns.

We cannot currently ship to the following destinations due to regulatory or logistical constraints:

5. Other Import Limitations

Due to strict import controls, we are unable to ship vegetable or mixed seeds to New Zealand.

Certain bulky or heavy seed lines may also be ineligible for international shipping. Checkout validation will notify you if any items cannot be shipped to your destination.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally permitted to import seeds to your destination country.

4. Overseas Customers

We do not provide Phytosanitary Certificates or other declarations for retail-size orders. For larger wholesale/trade orders, this can be arranged by agreement via info@plant-world-seeds.com.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify import regulations in their destination country before ordering. Customers are also responsible for customs duties, taxes, permits, and other import charges applied by destination authorities.

If an international order is returned because local import rules or permit requirements were not met, we may refund the product price once the goods are safely returned to us, less the original shipping cost and a 30% restocking fee. Orders confiscated or destroyed by customs are not refundable.

US customers

A Small Seed Permit (PPQ 587) is often required before ordering seeds into the USA. In some cases, orders may be held until permit details are provided to orders@plant-world-seeds.com. For full application steps, read our U.S. permit guide.

New Zealand

New Zealand import rules are strict. We check items against the NZ Plant Biosecurity Index before dispatch. Some items may be blocked from checkout where restrictions apply.

6. Lost, Delayed, Damaged, or Incorrect Orders

If your order has not arrived within expected timeframes, contact orders@plant-world-seeds.com. For international orders, please allow up to 30 days before reporting.

If items arrive damaged or incorrect, notify us within 7 days of receipt. We may request photos so we can resolve quickly with a replacement, exchange, or refund where appropriate.

Postal services and customs processing can cause delays outside our control, but we will help investigate non-delivery and transit damage when you contact us promptly.
