Actaea Seeds (7 varieties)
View‘Cheju-Do’ is a compact selection of Japanese bugbane, forming a neat clump of finely divided green foliage topped in summer by slender, branching racemes of fluffy white, bottlebrush-like flowers. Reaching only around half the height of many Actaea, it fits easily into smaller woodland borders and shaded courtyard beds while retaining the genus’s graceful vertical effect. The name refers to Jeju Island, part of the species’ East Asian range. It prefers cool, humus-rich soil that remains evenly moist, where its pale flower spikes brighten dappled shade without overwhelming neighbouring plants.
