Ageratum Houstonianum 'Dondo Blue'

‘Dondo Blue’ is the tall, cutting form of floss flower, producing long, branching stems topped by dense clusters of soft, powder-blue, fuzzy blooms. Unlike compact bedding ageratums, it reaches useful bouquet height and continues supplying airy filler flowers from early summer until frost. The weather-resistant heads hold their colour well, while butterflies, bees and other beneficial insects visit them readily. Mass it through a sunny border for a cool blue haze, or grow it in rows for cutting; regular harvesting and pinching encourage a fuller plant and an even longer flowering season.
