Agrimonia Procera

Fragrant agrimony is the taller, more luxuriant relative of common agrimony, forming leafy stems crowned by long racemes of bright yellow flowers in midsummer. Glandular hairs beneath the leaves release a distinctive sweet scent when rubbed, while the hooked fruits attach themselves to passing animals and clothing. Naturally associated with woodland rides, scrub edges, verges and tall grassland, it brings height without heaviness and supports visiting insects. Its aromatic foliage, loose branching habit and later flowering season suit wildlife gardens and relaxed meadow-style borders.
