Stipa Seeds (7 varieties)
ViewPheasant's tail grass is one of New Zealand's most graceful ornamental grasses, forming a fountain of fine, arching leaves that shift from fresh green to amber, copper, orange and red as the seasons advance. In late summer, airy sprays of tiny reddish-brown flowers rise through the foliage and shimmer in the slightest breeze. The clump remains attractive through much of winter, providing movement and warm colour when many perennials have faded. Adaptable to sun or light shade and tolerant of coastal exposure, it is superb beside paths, among gravel or repeated through naturalistic planting, though it can self-seed generously.
