Anemone Multifida Mix

This mixture of Anemone multifida offers a variable colony of compact North American windflowers with finely divided, often softly hairy foliage and upright stems carrying simple cup-shaped blooms. Seedlings may flower in creamy white, yellow, pink, red or coppery shades, each centred by a prominent boss of stamens. The flowers are followed by silky seed heads that add further texture. Naturally found from open woodland to mountain grassland, the species is hardy and adaptable, making an attractive front-of-border or rock-garden plant. Growing several together reveals the appealing diversity of the seed strain.
