Armeria Maritima Alba

Armeria maritima 'Alba' is a clean white form of sea thrift, producing dense evergreen cushions of fine, grass-like leaves and slender stems topped by rounded heads of pure white flowers. The display begins in late spring and often continues through summer when spent heads are removed. Compact, hardy and naturally tolerant of wind, salt and drought, it is ideal for coastal gardens, troughs, path edging and sunny rockeries. The crisp blooms brighten gravel planting and attract bees, while the neat foliage provides year-round structure without rich soil or frequent attention.
