Armeria Pseudoarmeria Ballerina Alba

'Ballerina White' is a compact selection of great thrift, forming a strong evergreen clump of broad, lance-shaped leaves and numerous upright stems topped by dense white flower heads. The rounded blooms are larger than those of common sea thrift and can continue from late spring into autumn when regularly deadheaded. Their sturdy stems also make useful small cut flowers. Neat enough for pots and rock gardens yet bold enough for the front of a border, this drought-tolerant perennial thrives in full sun and free-draining soil, where its clean colouring and long season make it versatile.
