Campanula Saxifraga

A compact, spreading plant with slightly hairy, toothed leaves which may be evergreen and emerge in spring on creeping stems which bear the flowers which are bell shaped, deep violet blue, and much larger than you may expect from a plant of this size. It will thrive on stony walls and places in full sun providing the soil does not dry out completely.
