Commelina Seeds (4 varieties)
ViewThis white form of the tuberous dayflower produces fresh, three-petalled blooms held above upright stems and narrow green leaves through summer. Two broad white upper petals and a smaller lower petal frame yellow stamens, creating a clean, butterfly-like flower that is especially effective in warm sunlight. Individual blooms last only a day, but new buds open continually over a long season. Closely allied to Commelina tuberosa, it develops fleshy underground roots that can be lifted and stored where winters are severe. Seedlings may vary in form and purity of colour.
