Corydalis Heterophylla

Corydalis heterophylla is an uncommon Asian fumewort grown for its delicate, variable foliage and slender racemes of spurred flowers. The leaves may differ noticeably in division and outline along the same plant, a feature reflected in the name heterophylla, meaning diverse-leaved. Its fine texture and modest clumping habit suit a cool woodland border, shaded rock garden or collection of unusual Papaveraceae, where the floral detail can be viewed closely. Reliable horticultural information remains limited, making seed-raised plants valuable for observation and careful documentation.
