Delphinium Mixed Species And Cultivars

This mixed collection offers a broad range of delphiniums, potentially including compact mountain species, tall border forms and seed-raised cultivars. Plants may vary greatly in stature, leaf shape and flower arrangement, with blooms in shades of white, blue, violet, purple, pink or intermediate tones. Some may form dense upright spikes while others carry looser branching racemes or short alpine clusters. Growing the mixture provides the opportunity to select unusual colours, strong garden plants and distinctive botanical forms. Careful labelling and observation will help separate the different types as they mature.
