Dianthus Deltoides Mixed Cultivars

This mixture of maiden pink cultivars creates a low, spreading carpet of narrow evergreen foliage topped by a varied display of single flowers. Seedlings may bloom in white, soft pink, vivid cerise, crimson or red, often with darker eyes, pale spotting or contrasting rings around the centre. Compact mats knit attractively through gravel, spill over walls and soften path edges while remaining light enough for small gardens. Hardy, drought tolerant and useful to pollinating insects, the plants flower for weeks in summer and often produce attractive new colour combinations when allowed to self-seed.
