Dianthus Uralensis Mixed Hybrids

These Ural pink hybrids should produce compact, hardy plants with narrow blue-green foliage and bright summer flowers held just above the cushions. Seedlings may range through white, shell pink, rose, crimson and purple-red, often with darker eyes, pale margins or finely toothed petals. Their continental ancestry gives excellent cold tolerance, while the neat habit suits troughs, gravel gardens and sunny border edges. Growing a group reveals the full variation of the strain and allows especially fragrant, richly coloured or well-shaped individuals to be selected.
