Digitalis Seeds (22 varieties)
ViewDigitalis ambigua, now accepted as Digitalis grandiflora, is a dependable perennial foxglove with elegant spires of large pale yellow bells. Each flower is softly veined and spotted with brown inside, guiding bees towards the nectar while adding intricate detail at close range. Unlike the biennial common foxglove, established clumps return for many years and fit naturally into woodland edges, cottage borders and lightly shaded meadows. The flowering stems are graceful rather than heavy, rising above fresh green foliage in early summer. Every part is poisonous if eaten.
