Echinacea Purpurea Magnus Superior

'Magnus Superior' is an improved strain of the celebrated purple coneflower, producing exceptionally large, deep purplish-pink daisies with broad petals held more horizontally than those of many older forms. A raised bronze-orange cone anchors each bloom and remains decorative after the petals fade, while strong stems make excellent cut flowers. The long summer display is alive with bees and butterflies, and seed heads later feed finches. Hardy, upright and dependable, it is a natural choice for prairie planting, sunny borders and wildlife gardens where winter drainage is good.
