Eschscholzia Californica Mixed Colours

This California poppy mixture produces silky, cup-shaped flowers in a lively range of cream, yellow, gold, orange, apricot, pink and red above finely divided blue-green foliage. The blooms open widely in sunshine and fold closed in dull weather or towards evening, creating a constantly changing display from early summer until autumn. Native to dry western North American grasslands, Eschscholzia californica thrives on poor ground and needs little water once established. It is ideal for gravel gardens, sunny banks and informal annual meadows, where it often self-seeds into natural drifts.
