Euonymus Hillerei

Euonymus Hillerei is an unresolved stock name and should be grown as an identification project rather than treated as a confirmed species. Seedlings should show the familiar spindle combination of opposite leaves, small greenish flowers and capsules that may split to reveal brightly coloured seeds. Mature habit, twig structure, winter buds, autumn colour and fruit form will be essential for determining the correct name. Keep the original provenance with every plant, photograph development over several seasons and do not merge the batch with authenticated material until its identity is settled.
