Euphorbia Blue Cushion

This rare, completely unique, and unusually-attractive new hybrid, that has never been sold before, and which comes true from seed, appeared in our Devon gardens. Sizeable, compact heads of bright lime green flowers open above compact stems bearing beautiful glaucous blue green leaves, the unflowered stems having a remarkable likeness to large bottle brushes. We grow numerous euphorbias here, but the original hybrid appeared near to plants of Euphorbia characias, and the dwarf Euphorbia pithyusa, and possesses an attractive compact habit somewhere between them. However, any further botanical advice will be welcome. It will make a superb edge-of-border plant, an attractive specimen on the rockery, and will excel in a container.
