Freesia Laxa Mixed

This Freesia laxa mixture produces neat fans of iris-like leaves and slender stems carrying bright, flattened star flowers. Seedlings may bloom in carmine red, white, soft pink, blue-lilac or attractive intermediate shades, often with darker markings at the base of the lower petals. Native from eastern Africa to South Africa, the species grows quickly from small corms and can form colourful drifts in a sheltered rockery or container. Each bloom is short lived, but fresh buds open in succession, and happy plants may self-seed without becoming aggressively invasive.
