Gentiana Angustifolia

This is certainly the easiest growing member of the gentiana acaulis group, doing well in ordinary rich garden soils, tolerating lime easily, and in time forming large mats. The very large and magnificent deep blue trumpets are freely borne in May and June to the delight of our garden visitors.
