Geum Coccineum 'Koi'

‘Koi’ is a miniature avens that packs vivid colour into a neat clump only around knee height or less. Bright orange-red, open flowers are carried on short leafy stems above a rosette of lobed, toothed green foliage from late spring into midsummer. Its compact habit makes it especially useful for path edging, containers, gravel gardens and the front of mixed borders, where the flowers remain easy to see and attract pollinating insects. Tough and long lived in drained soil, it responds to regular deadheading with a longer and more generous display.
