Goniolimon Speciosum

Goniolimon speciosum is an elegant Eurasian sea lavender forming a basal rosette of narrow blue-green leaves and a branching summer haze of tiny pink to lilac flowers. The wiry stems create a light, cloud-like effect in gravel planting and remain remarkably durable when cut and dried. Native to steppe, rocky slopes and dry grassland across central Asia and southern Siberia, it is well adapted to heat, wind and poor soil. Its restrained colour, architectural branching and lasting seed heads make it an excellent companion for grasses, alliums and silver foliage.
