Heuchera Chlorantha

Green-flowered alumroot is a Pacific Northwest perennial forming a basal mound of rounded, softly lobed leaves and tall, slender flower stems. Dense sprays of small green, bell-shaped flowers rise above the foliage from late spring into summer, creating a subtle, architectural effect rather than a bright colour display. Native to rocky shore bluffs, forest openings and stream banks from Oregon to British Columbia, it combines woodland character with unusual floral form. It is especially effective among ferns and darker foliage in cool, humus-rich partial shade.
