Hibiscus Hybrida 'Summerific Lilac Crush'

Summerific ‘Lilac Crush’ is a towering hardy hibiscus bred for enormous lavender-blue flowers, each 18–20 cm across with thick, overlapping petals. Cooler conditions intensify the blue cast, while warm weather brings softer lilac tones. The upright, columnar stems resist lodging and carry rich green, maple-like leaves, creating a tropical effect from a fully hardy perennial. It emerges late in spring but then grows with remarkable speed and flowers from midsummer. Seed-raised offspring will vary, offering new combinations of colour, height and flower form rather than exact copies.
