Hosta Mixed Hybrids And Cultivars

This mixture of Hosta hybrids and cultivars offers the chance to raise completely individual shade perennials. Seedlings may develop leaves in fresh green, blue-grey, chartreuse, gold or darker tones, with forms ranging from narrow and rippled to broad, cupped and heavily textured. Variegation is uncommon from seed but occasional surprises are possible. Summer stems carry white, lavender or purple bells, often fragrant, above the foliage. Growing a broad selection allows the best plants to be chosen for colour, substance, vigour and resistance to slug damage.
