Lathyrus Vernus 'Albiflorus'

‘Albiflorus’ is a white-flowered form of spring pea, forming a compact clump of fresh green pinnate leaves without the climbing tendrils of most Lathyrus. Short stems carry clusters of clean white pea blooms in spring, bringing light to woodland edges and the front of mixed borders. The flowers may age with the faintest cream or green tint, followed by dark pods. Hardy, long lived and easy in sun or partial shade, it combines beautifully with spring bulbs and ferns. The pods and seeds are ornamental and should not be eaten.
