Lilium Pardalinum Ssp Wigginsii

This is a strong, tall-growing North American species, producing stems of whorled foliage in a pleasant shade of apple-green. On each stem there are about twenty nodding, dark-spotted, orange-red, flowers which have enormous protruding anthers, and shade to yellow at the centre.
