Lunaria Annua Corfu Blue

'Corfu Blue' is a distinctive honesty with dark grey-green, heart-shaped leaves and unusually cool violet-blue flowers. Upright branching stems create a generous late-spring display before developing broad, flat green pods that dry to reveal translucent silver-white discs. The seed heads are excellent for cutting and remain decorative long after the flowers have faded. This hardy biennial suits sunny or lightly shaded borders and is particularly effective among ferns, spring bulbs and pale foliage, where its clear blue-violet colouring stands apart from ordinary purple honesty.
