Lupinus Seeds (11 varieties)
ViewLarge-leaved lupin is a bold western North American perennial with broad palmate leaves and tall summer spikes of blue, purple or reddish pea flowers. It is one of the principal ancestors of modern Russell and border lupins, contributing height, vigour and dense flower towers. Bees work the blooms enthusiastically, while nitrogen-fixing roots support growth in modest soil. In suitable cool, moist climates the species can self-seed and naturalise strongly, so seed heads should be removed where spread is unwanted. All parts, especially the seed, are harmful if eaten.
