Meconopsis 'Keillour Violet'

One of the lovely new poppy discoveries of recent years, this exquisite plant opens large floppy petals in a new and delightful shade of violet-purple. It multiplies up each year, finally forming a massive golden-haired clump which can be divided to increase the size of the bed. In a shady spot with organic-enriched soil a bed of these plants make an unbelievable sight. Very few seeds have been collected. (RHS Award of Garden Merit Winner - AGM)
