Meconopsis Napaulensis Mixed Colours And Hybrids

This mixed collection of Nepal poppies and related hybrids offers some of the most dramatic foliage and flower variation in Meconopsis. Broad, deeply divided rosettes may be covered in silver, gold or copper hairs for several years before tall branching stems appear. Flowers can range through cherry red, crimson, pink, cream, white and yellow, often with golden centres. Most plants flower once and then die, but a well-grown group can renew itself through seed. Cool summers, moist humus and dappled shade are essential for bringing these spectacular Himalayan forms to maturity.
