Narcissus Fernandesii Cordubensis

Narcissus cordubensis is a miniature Spanish jonquil from the Córdoba region, formerly treated as a variety of Narcissus fernandesii. Slender stems carry one or more fragrant deep yellow flowers, each with a curved tube, narrow tepals and a small cup. Fine rush-like leaves reinforce its delicate appearance and make it particularly suitable for troughs and alpine pots. Native to open Mediterranean ground, it grows through the cooler wet season and retreats before summer heat, requiring sharp drainage, bright light and a distinct dry dormancy.
