Nigella Damascena Miss Jekyll Alba

‘Miss Jekyll Alba’ is the pure white form of love-in-a-mist, producing crisp starry flowers nestled within a delicate ruff of finely divided green foliage. The airy plants bring lightness to cottage borders and cutting gardens, followed by inflated, horned seed capsules that are excellent for drying. Named within the famous Miss Jekyll strain associated with influential garden designer Gertrude Jekyll, it combines historical charm with effortless annual performance. Direct sowing gives the strongest plants, and repeated sowings provide flowers and decorative pods through summer.
