Oenothera Seeds (16 varieties)
View'Sulphurea' is a refined form of fragrant evening primrose, producing large scented lemon-yellow flowers from vivid red buds on reddish stems. The blooms open in the evening and gradually change through soft apricot to peach as they age, so several shades appear together above narrow bronzy-green leaves. Flowering from early summer into autumn, it is particularly effective in gravel gardens and warm, informal borders. The dusk-opening flowers attract moths, while the plant's short-lived habit is easily renewed by allowing a little seed to ripen.
