Penstemon Hirsutus Minimus

This rare and tiny plant has long pale purple tubular flowers, darker on top, in early summer. Making a compact cushion of small-leafed stems, it is ideal for a small rock garden or pot on the porch, and although bone hardy from the cold, it prefers a dryish, wel-drained spot.
