Penstemon Hirsutus Var Pygmaeus

Mounds of purple-tinted leaves are soon decorated in spring by long, thin, pink trumpets with white flared mouths opening on striking, purple, thin, dividing stems. When grown with no surrounding competition this dwarf plant makes a superb specimen.
