Pepper Komodo Dragon Orange

Pepper Komodo Dragon Orange is an extreme-heat Capsicum chinense selected for heavily wrinkled pods that ripen to a brilliant orange. Reported at roughly 1,400,000–2,000,000 Scoville Heat Units, it belongs firmly among the superhots, with a deceptively fruity opening followed by an intense, rapidly building burn. The dramatic pods appeal to specialist collectors and experienced sauce makers, but must be handled with gloves and used only in minute quantities. Greenhouse warmth is strongly recommended. (HOT)
