Pepper Purple Cayenne

Perhaps the most beautiful of all Cayenne Pepper varieties, Cayenne Purple is a dark vibrant purple variant of the standard red Cayenne, with the long thin peppers going from a dark purple to eventually red when fully ripe. The compact plants are exceptionally easy to grow and can turn into tall handsome plants with attractive white and purple flowers producing a valuable ornamental edible pepper. They are of a mild to medium heat. 50,000 SHU
