Pimpinella Major Rosea

Pimpinella major ‘Rosea’ is an airy, long-lived perennial with divided green foliage and broad, branching umbels of rosy-pink flowers that gradually fade to the palest blush. The flat flower heads rise lightly above the clump in early and midsummer, attracting bees, hoverflies and many other beneficial insects. Its transparent habit adds height without heaviness and blends beautifully with grasses, roses and naturalistic perennials. Hardy and adaptable, it performs best in fertile, moisture-retentive soil in sun or partial shade.
