Saponaria Ocymoides Alba

Saponaria ocymoides 'Alba' is a white-flowered form of tumbling Ted, creating a low semi-evergreen cushion that spills naturally over walls, stones and path edges. Loose clusters of small, five-petalled white flowers cover the trailing stems from late spring into summer, attracting bees and softening hard landscaping. Native relatives range through the mountains of southern Europe, where they occupy dry rocky ground. Tough, floriferous and easy to establish, it needs full sun, lean soil and good drainage rather than rich feeding.
