Scabiosa Columbaria Nana

Scabiosa columbaria 'Nana' is a compact small scabious with finely divided grey-green foliage and a succession of pale blue-lilac pincushion flowers. Slender stems lift the blooms just above the neat clump from summer into early autumn, making them useful for small bouquets while remaining perfectly scaled for edging, containers and gravel gardens. Bees and butterflies visit the open flower heads throughout the season. Hardy and easy in sun, this dwarf form prefers lean, neutral to alkaline soil and reliable drainage.
