Scilla Forbesii Pink Giant

Scilla 'Pink Giant', long sold as Chionodoxa forbesii 'Pink Giant', is a charming spring bulb with short stems of pale pink, star-shaped flowers around clean white centres. The blooms rise above narrow green leaves and appear soon after winter, often naturalising beneath shrubs, through grass or among early narcissi. Compact, hardy and reliable, it brings a softer alternative to the familiar blue glory-of-the-snow. Seedlings may vary in depth of pink, offering scope to select clear colouring and well-filled flower spikes.
