Semiaquilegia Adoxoides Mixed Colours

Semiaquilegia adoxoides is a delicate East Asian woodland perennial with finely divided, columbine-like foliage and short stems of small nodding flowers. This mixed strain may produce blooms in white, pale pink, rose, mauve or soft purple, each with a simple spurless or nearly spurless outline. The plant's refined scale makes it ideal for shaded troughs, woodland edges and the front of a cool border. Native from China to Japan, it appreciates humus-rich soil, spring moisture and shelter from hot sun, often self-seeding gently where content.
